Parent coaching & strategy sessions

Targeted, practical parenting support — available to parents anywhere.

Sometimes you don't need therapy. You need someone who knows young kids, knows your nervous system, and can help you figure out what to actually do at 5pm on a Tuesday.

That's coaching. Coaching is not therapy — it's structured, skills-focused parenting support. It's available to parents in any state, including those who can't access me as a therapist.

The goal

To help you feel steadier, more confident, and supported as you build skills that last—without pressure to be perfect.

Family Alignment Session

A single session to help the adults in your child’s life get on the same page.

Parenting is hard enough without feeling like you’re working against each other.
This session is designed to create clarity, alignment, and calm—so everyone knows what they’re aiming for and how to support each other.

Parents, Grandparents, Caregivers

When multiple adults care for a child, differences are inevitable. Different upbringings. Different stress levels. Different ideas about discipline, boundaries, and emotions.

Over time, those differences can turn into:

  • Power struggles between adults

  • Confusing or inconsistent expectations for kids

  • Resentment, shutdown, or constant rehashing of the same arguments

This Family Alignment Session offers a structured, supportive space to slow things down, get grounded, and move forward together.

What We’ll Do Together

In this 75 minute session for 3-4 people, I’ll guide you through:

  • Clarifying shared values and long-term goals

  • Understanding how stress and nervous systems are influencing reactions

  • Identifying where misalignment is actually happening (and where it isn’t)

  • Choosing a few aligned strategies that everyone can realistically follow

  • Creating shared language for moments of tension or big emotions

This is not about perfection or control—it’s about cooperation, clarity, and connection.

What You’ll Leave With

  • A clearer sense of shared direction

  • Increased understanding (of your child and each other)

  • Aligned expectations and next steps

  • Less tension and more confidence moving forward

Therapy or coaching: which do you need?

  • Choose therapy if you're processing emotions, mental health symptoms, birth experiences, identity shifts, or relationship strain — and you live in Washington State.

  • Choose coaching if you want practical parenting strategies, skills-based support, or you live outside of Washington.

  • Not sure? Book a free 15-minute call and we'll figure it out together.

Disclaimer

Coaching is not psychotherapy and is not a substitute for mental health treatment. If you are experiencing mental health symptoms, grief, trauma, or relationship distress, therapy is the more appropriate service. I am happy to help you find a qualified provider in your state.
